A few days ago, my EyeTV recordings and Live TV started stuttering/skipping. With a one hour recorded programme I'd lose 10-15 minutes of it. It also happened watching Live TV.
I tried the following to no effect:
Quit and restart EyeTV
Computer restart
Change the recording destination from an external to the Mini's internal drive
Reformatted the external drive
I then booted from a clone and the problem disappeared. So I re-cloned the clone back to the Mini and everything is back to normal.
So, the problem is solved, but does anyone have any idea what the problem was caused by?
