I know this isn't a strictly Mac subject, but I do use my Mac for this. And Mac4Mac is one of the few forums whose advice I trust.

So... Web Hosting – it's a minefield. I have 4 websites hosted by a U.S. company called FatCow. They're OK, but the problem is, I've written these sites in Weebly and now that I want to give these sites more prominence I realise the severe limitations of Weebly. So, I need to rewrite them in WordPress.org (not .com). FatCow provides WordPress.com only.

If I move to another host does anyone have any recommendations out of the millions of options out there? I'm looking for a company not owned by EIG (Endurance International Group), reasonably cheap and with excellent english-speaking technical help (i.e. not Indian). Two possibilities appear to be Siteground and Hawkhost.

Suggestions please (and if it is felt this post should move to Couch, please say so).

Lorimer

My website and email is hosted by James. Send him a PM. He may be able to help.
