For some time now, I've had duplicate groups in my Contacts. The contents of each group are the same. Also, any edits that I do aren't saved. Any solutions please?

in Contacts, View > Show Groups - opens another panel. Pick the one you want (I go with iCloud). Turn off the group view panel. That did it for me.

Thanks, but as I have the Groups showing, all I can do is Hide them, which doesn't really solve the problem.

Check what account you have enabled, look at Contacts - Preferences - Accounts and also System Preferences - Internet Accounts.
I had a similar problem with duplicated contacts and I think it was because I had contacts On My Mac as well as contacts on iCloud selected to display. Confusing as hell. So now I just have contacts on iCloud displayed.
At least that means they can be seen by all computers and any change or addition made by one computer is reflected throughout.

Thanks, Leewave. That enabled me to hide the Dave Gmali entry, but I still have all the duplicate groups showing. I think I'll have to delete the Groups and then reset them all.
Still can't edit entries though.
