'Heard of' is the best way. It is an acquired taste to go there :D

I realise I took this thread off topic on page three but a couple of days ago, I tried the Watch unlock Mac thing again and the setting took. I'm guessing the recent updates somehow loosened whatever wasn't clicking into place.

I'm hoping iOS 11.3 comes soon. I really want a second Homepod to make a pair. There's usually an Event in March - I can't find details on 2018 yet - so maybe then.

I've had a few false Siri commands on my Homepod. Nobody said 'hey' or 'Siri' in any combination when she (I have a female voice) says 'OK, playing xyz' and does, or continues with whatever it was last doing.

I also get some funnies with the watch. When I open the oven, when it is on, it activates Siri and waits for a command. Nuts!

My Homepod vanished as an Airplay device. It would happily play from Apple Music but that's all. A power off/on sorted it. Just works? My aris.

First gen problems I’m guessing.

Maybe. Or software bugs.

Probably software bugs, if they can easily be fixed by restarting.

That's what I mean by first gen problems. It's the first generation of HomePod hardware and software - even if it is most likely based on iOS.

I gave feedback with the issues I've had. I doubt it will make a difference in the grand scheme of things but at least they have been told and hopefully adds to evidence.

Useful command - Hey Siri, play podcast <insert title e.g. Money Box>. That will save me finding things in iTunes and using Airplay. I'm sure you lot knew that one but I didn't.

I'm watching Deadpool. Just after an incidence of the sh word, without the listen command being uttered, Siri chirped up "language!" It missed much more before, bless.

Odd noises do seem to turn her on.... on the HomePod and Watch I mean.

I want Siri to play Bullinamingvase by Roy Harper. It isn't going to happen. You try asking and see what the cloth-eared bin<cough> er... assistant... thinks you ask for. It is in Apple Music. I can get individual tracks played. Sigh.

She recognises Roy Harper ok. However, even when I tried to break that title down into words, she couldn't do it. The nearest I got was "ball in a Ming vase". Sigh.

Yep. I did all that careful diction stuff. I gave up but later thought "I wonder if I could ask what Roy Harper albums she had?" and see a) if that works and b) hear what she says it is. But I've not tried yet.
