I have just imported a music CD into my wife's partition on my iMac but the album does not appear in her iPad or iPhone which is where she wants to listen to it from.

Is it easily possible to sync the music on her partition on my iMac with her iPad/iPhone?

P.S. My wife does not subscribe to Apple Music but I do.

While logged into you're wife's account, plug in the iPad open iTunes select the album you want and drag to the iPad (in iTunes side bar). Job done. There are other ways also.

Thank you. Will I have to repeat that for her iPhone or will one move do both jobs?

Is there no way to sync the devices via iCloud?

Yup, subscribe her to Apple Music or iTunes Match.

The trouble with either of those options is that my wife has a limited amount of music she wants on her devices and both of these options would be a waste of money for her to subscribe to.

I, however, am a subscriber to Apple Music and I love it. I could add her to my membership but then as far as I can see she gets all of my music most of which she hates!

There's more to life than heavy metal and industrial thrash, friend.
