I'm trying to send an email with birthday stationery (Apple's) but Mail keeps giving this message:

"This message cannot be sent because it uses stationery and contains attachments that are not images"

Which is total BS. The picture - which is in the message as an attachment - is a .JPG, what's not an image about a JPG?

No, it's a jpeg from my camera, dragged from iPhoto to desktop and resized, but it ends .jpg. Definitely not a PDF.

Strange - I quit Mail, and on relaunch that unsent message re-opened. So I tried again to send it and this time it did. Mail moves in mysterious ways its wonders to perform.
