 Post subject: DiskWarrior / Alsoft

Over many years, I have come to rate Alsoft’s technical/customer support (based on a scale of 1 to 10) as 0.5. So I am here to ask if there is someone who can help me with my existing problem with DiskWarrior.

Please respond, however, only if you ”meet the following requirements” :) :
1. You are running Sierra (10.12), not High Sierra
2. You purchased DW v5 on a flash drive which was sent to you in the mail
3. You have subsequently downloaded the updater, and updated DW to v5.1, and also updated the DW ”recovery drive” which is used to boot your Mac
4. After updating, DW will not run properly; it produces, but cannot replace, the new directory.

If someone has successfully gotten DW to work after having this issue, I would appreciate your response.
I am in constant communication with Alsoft's support staff, but they are not in constant or meaningful communication with me.
