I want to scream right now! I've been in bed really unwell for the past 3 days. Realising what I'd been doing wrong, I'd had my (4th gen) Touch connected to my Eclipse-supplied Thomson b/g router.

All of a sudden, about 30 minutes ago, Safari suddenly complains I have no Internet connection and - sure enough - the wi-fi signal indicator has completely vanished from the top-left corner.

Checking the settings, I see it's still connected to the router, and the signal strength is showing as 3 full 'bars' (under 'settings' - NOT at the top of the screen).

I have reset the iPod (using the 'reset all settings', as well as the 'network settings' options) and I've also hard reset the router. No dice.

Should add that the iOS is fully updated.

I REALLY don't want to have to trek all the way to Brum in the morning but, if anyone here thinks it's REALLY necessary, then please let me know this evening so I can reserve a Genius Bar slot.

Cheers folks!

Sarah xxx
(frustrated!)
