So far, I've seen no comments about Apple's new 3-pin plug which comes with The Watch. This is the plug I've been looking for, and is perfect for travel. I usually take a 4-socket power lead with me. But that will be in the suitcase, whereas this new plug, although only USB, will be in the slip with my MBA in my Carry-on bag. Very neat. Lorimer

Just out of interest, I tried not putting my watch on charge two nights ago, and 36 hours later (07:00 to 23:00 the next day), the battery still showed 19%. Better than I'd anticipated, or had been led to believe. Do others have a similar experience?

My Watch has lasted two days, first one from 7am until Midnight when I turned it off, then the next day from 7am until just after 10.30pm when it went into Power Reserve mode at 1% battery.
I usually charge every night though.

Now I've got used to mine and how it works, it seems to have about 50% charge left by the end of the day. I'm like bigbluewolf though and just stick it on to charge overnight when I go to bed.

My watch is becoming increasingly impressive. I had a BA flight (BCN to LGW) on Monday, and having checked in and downloaded the boarding card the previous day, there was the barcode, ready and waiting on my watch face when I arrived at the airport. It wasn't there before although it was available in Passbook in my phone, so I wonder if 'location sensing' was at work here too? Mighty clever anyway.

I'm finding Notifications on the watch very useful, especially for WhatsApp and FlightRadar24. But one notification I can't get to work, is Messages (both Texts & iMessage) although it is ticked. This is a nuisance because I quite often miss Messages, especially if my phone is on silent. Any ideas?

That is impressive about the boarding card! Very clever.
As for the messages...not sure. Just looked on the Watch app on my phone and Mirror my iPhone is ticked on mine, under both the Notifications heading and under the Messages heading further down the main menu screen...I seem to get all message notifications.

Ah, sorry. Hopefully someone else will be along with more technical knowledge than me!

I see that PCWorld/Currys and John Lewis are now selling them. That's something else to drool over when I call in, as well as 4K TVs. I can't, hand on heart, justify either. More is the pity. All I need is a tenuous reason.

As I've said many times before, if you want something then buy it. Justification is NOT needed.
