Yep what James said is true.
Imagine going into an Apple Store and having a £30 limit on ApplePay... but some stupid retailers keep the £30 limit. It's not like a contactless card when ANYONE can use ANY card, TouchID means the cards stored can only be used by the correct person - unless you are daft enough to register someone else's fingerprint on your iPhone...

Anybody use the iOS Stocard app instead of getting your reward cards out of your wallet ?
