Yes you can use them but I have found most bluetooth headphones are the 'in-ear' ones which I can't use. They hurt my ears and can give me headaches.
I have ordered a BT pair which look very similar to Apple's EarPods in shape (which suit me) so I will have to see how comfortable they are.
The AirPods are the ideal shape but the price is astoundingly high.

I already have some AKG bt on ear headphones which work well for me on my 5s which is good as I don't get on with in ear headphones. I won't miss the headphone jack.
