For the last month or so, the BBC News app on my iPhone 5s has been crashing almost without fail after about two to four minutes of opening the programme, returning me to the Home screen. It's SO frustrating. I've restarted the programme, restarted the phone, sworn at it (sometimes), but find no change.

Does anyone else have this problem? As always, Suggestions please...

Thanks,

Lorimer

Have you tried deleting the app by clicked big and holding down on the app icon and clicking the (X). Then re-download it from the App Store (it will be listed under the Purchases section)

I always delete the app, reboot the phone and then re-install in cases like this.

Thanks for the suggestion. I should have thought of it. Done it now, and so far so good...

It's an easy and relatively painless fix - unless it's a game and you lose all your progress.

Glad it seems to be behaving properly now.
