By the way, Herodotus, my phone doesn't use any MB - unless, of course, I consciously want some info from the Internet.
What I'm sayin' is: your settings are not what you wish - if you do not want MB being "consumed". Correctly set up, there will be no consumption.

Or you can turn the phone off, and put it in a safe-deposit box

When you are out-and-about, simply turn off Data. No cellular data is used. Period.
Turn it (back) on if you need a connection to the Internet - for some specific purpose.

You choose what you want to access - and use cellular data in the process. Nothing happens unless you want it to happen. If you want something to happen, activate it.

Now, people who have large monthly data packages - and use their phones a lot and for business - will probably have just about everything accessing the Internet. You can have nothing, or... Want to check e-mail? Turn on Data. Don't need to check it? Leave it off. Check e-mail manually - as opposed to having it "pushed". That saves data.

You can even use Location Services - without cellular data. It will use your phone's gps function. There's no data used in that case.

I simply don't know the answer; I'm not a phone geek. Obvious, no?

Possible-and-partial explanation:
those figures are not monthly - I think. They may represent the total used since the phone was set up. You may have initially used those services - knowing or not - before turning them off.

As an example, I have never set up Siri. Siri doesn't even show in the equivalent list on my phone.

Just a guess.
