All the info we've found tells us how to block a number that's already in our calls list. We know the number of someone who may call us and want to add it to the block list. Anyone know how?

Create a contact with the number you want to block. Then go to Settings ▸ Phone ▸ Call Blocking & Identification and scroll down to 'Block Contact...' and then block the desired Contact/Number.

That would certainly work; however, it leaves that person as a contact. Right?
I would assume that Neil does not want that person as a contact.

It's the only way I know to block a number without that person ringing you.

So Neil, perhaps you let the person call that first time - and then block her.

Thanks Jonah... easy peasy once you know how!

Not too bothered that it's still in the contact list as long as the block keeps working.

Interesting, Ramaprem, that you assumed it was a she. I'm not being stalked
