Why does my iPad have the Apple app: Find My iPhone? and Why does my iPad not have the Apple app: Compass? Do the answers begin with, "Because..."? |

Because if you lost your iPhone, you might want to find it using your iPad. It also locates any other Apple hardware so calling it Find My iPhone sound a bit limiting, I agree. Because maybe they thought you'd not be out and about exploring with an iPad. I made that one up. |
