I haven't upgraded to iOS11 - or done any updating to the new iTunes. But - just sitting silently and watching the grass grow - I found these files in the Trash:
iPad_6,11_iPad_6,12_10.3.3_14G60_Restore.ipsw iPhone_7Plus_10.3.3_14G60_Restore.ipsw
I've never seen this happen. Anyone have an explanation?

I had that too. I assumed iTunes 12.7 ditched the old iOS 10.3.3 files. Are they not the files used to put 10.3.3 onto an iDevice? If so, just housekeeping.

Well, as I said, I haven't updated or upgraded to anything new recently. I assume it is either housekeeping or a disaster.

I have updated to iOS 11 and iTunes 12.7 but not had any problems stated above. Everything is working as normal. I have found nothing untoward in the trash.

I never stated that there was a problem.

Yes, I have seen that in the past. Have no explanation to offer, presume it was just housekeeping.
