We're with Virginmobile; tried their help site, which let us enter the IMEI number but then could not move past that.

We both have the same model - mine is working fine but keeps nagging me to update. Fortunately I've been holding off. OH's updated this morning to 11.3.1 and has not been able to find service since then. Mine is still working OK, so it's not a reception problem. Tried a web search but not much luck there either.

If someone can give me a solution I'll be a lot happier. And that will be because OH will be a lot happier...

Looks like we may have to reset to factory condition. But first... back up!

Seems the problem was a coincidence. We swopped my SIM into OH's phone and it worked with no problems... until my credit ran out (I'm on original PAYG). This failed to trigger my brain and we went off to see our tame Apple expert.

Told her the process we'd gone through and she pointed out the obvious. The replacement SIM worked so there was nothing wrong with the phone and we should call Virgin

We did and a very nice young lady arranged for a replacement card, which arrived withing 48 hours.

So all is good again and harmony is restored
