There are two designs of the software of the iPhone which frustrate me almost whenever I use it, and I've done so since the very first iPhone:
1). Why is the scroll bar for web pages etc on the RHS where it is hidden by the thumb? This makes me think that my 5SE is designed for left-handed use. Why can't I move the scroll bar over to the LHS where it would be always in view?
2). Why is the 'Volume Change' panel not transparent? It is very slightly transparent but it still completely obscures the screen behind it while the volume is being changed. A transparency of 10% or 20% would be fine, not the current 90%. There was a neat App called Status HUD2 for IOS 6,7 & 8, but I've not found one for IOS 11.
I've searched through Settings but even amongst hundreds of Accessibility options, neither of these points appears.
Suggestions please...

They are not problems in my book. Scroll bars are customarily on the right in all GUIs I've used. The volume thing is on screen briefly. I hope you get used to it.

Loughor, it's frustrated me for 10 (?) years which is why I'm at last seeking a solution. Just because a design is badly done (like hiding a scroll bar under your thumb) doesn't mean that one should have to get used to it when the whole point of software design means that this could be changed.

I'm left handed and constantly frustrated by taking photos on my iPad which absolutely requires right handed operation. Why couldn't they have built in a simple reversal (flip) of the controls?
