My iPhone 6 is continually asking me to sign into icloud with my Apple ID password.

I cannot type more than 5 letters in a text at one time before it pops up again.

Macworld suggests turning the phone of then on again and sign in again to no avail. The next step it says is to go: settings: icloud : sign out : delete from iphone.

All well and good but there is no sign out option on my phone.

Its a real pain, I don't I use it for the occasional photo, texts and MAKING PHONE CALLS !!

If I delete the account on my phone will that delete the account everywhere ? something I don't want to do.

Any suggestions welcome.

I havn't used any app recently. It would have been useful if the article mensioned which app were likley to be affected.
The thing pops up when texting is so prevalent I cannot use the phone for texting.

Signing out of iCloud may be the way to get rid of this. If you do, all your information will still be available at iCloud.com so when you sign in again, it will reappear. It did for me when I had to sign out and in again.

Try a hard reset first though as this can cure random things. Press and hold the power and home buttons until the screen goes black and then release when the Apple logo reappears.

A hard reset didn't work, thanks for the tip though.

A pain trying to type in my password to disable find my phone with sign into icloud popping up every keystroke ! but deleting iCloud from the phone seems to have done the job.
