I seem to have one on my iPhone 7Plus running the current version of iOS:

The Wi-Fi setting appears momentarily (sometimes), and then disappears completely. It would be where there are two lines on the screen.
This is in portrait mode. In landscape mode, the setting is there, but it isn't labelled Wi-Fi. It just shows my network name. It is clickable, as if it actually said Wi-Fi.

This issue does not occur on my iPad.

I think you need to go to settings/display and brightness and reduce the text size, the text on yours looks very big.

Right you are. Thanks.
However, there remains a screen aberration:

And this one is duplicated in landscape mode, exactly as in portrait mode.

I just turned the device off and on. The screen is now as it should be.
Thanks for your help.

It's true: size matters.

Glad it's fixed.

To be honest, the old 'turn it off, turn it on' routine fixes an awful lot of glitches like the one you have had.

I know. I get turned off and turned on a lot. It seems to be good for me, too.
