Missus was using her iPhone as a torch and when she turned the device over to switch off the torch, there was a notice on screen saying it was "switching off local wifi and networks until tomorrow". The only option was to OK it and no reason was given.

We switched the phone off (top button) and on again and the notice did not reappear - and it still had its network connection. It's on iOS 11 and, AFAIK is on the latest version.

Anyone seen this before and have some idea what was going on?

Thanks Tony - having read the comments to that article, it seems we took the best/quickest way to recover from, er... basically, pressing the wrong button :roll:
