My Apple Watch 4 is connected to my phone (XR) whenever it's on my wrist (ie all day).
My question is: Is there a way for my watch to alert me if it loses contact with my phone? There are a very few times when I've left the house without my phone. My watch will know, but can it tell me?
Thanks,
Lorimer

Thanks Herodotus,
I initially thought that this was the answer and have downloaded it. However, it doesn't appear to have anything to do with the Apple Watch any more. I've left my phone in the house and walked some distance away and nothing happens so there doesn't seem to be any proximity alarm after all. It also says it's free but it inevitably "offers In-App purchases" which of course means that it's in fact, £23 p.a.
So it appears that this is not the answer but thanks for the suggestion.
Lorimer

It does seem a bit daft that they go to great lenghts to come up with all these bits and bobs on the watch, but forget the very simple things that should be an essential part of a watch.
