iPadOS 13.1, to be accurate. It took 17 minutes from acknowledging it was available for download to initial opening up. It is going to take a while to get used to and go through all the settings. I'm sure it will have turned settings on that I want off, as updates do, because Apple knows best. It is nagging for me to set up Apple Pay and keeps flipping the switches on for automatic downloads. I can fight back

It took me a day to find out how to get rid of the Widgets panel on the Home page. Now it has gone and I still have the small icons. Maybe I'll unbundle some those I grouped.

According to Google, the original iPad Air (which mine is) was released 1 November 2013 - I think I bought mine early 2014 so I suppose 6 years isn't bad going - it's starting to slow up now on iOS 12 and the battery isn't what it was, so I guess it's time to look at replacement soon.

I just connected my Magic Mouse 2 to my iPad. It works. I did it because the feature is new in iPadOS. Done it. Disconnected. I can't see the use for me but I know if needed in the future.

I don't know if it's because I haven't played a particular game since getting iPadOS but the battery management seems much improved.
