iPlayer live TV in Safari, iPadOS - audio is fine, but the picture freezes for about 10 seconds, then races to catch up, then almost immediately freezes again, and so on. Unwatchable.
I've done / checked:
- quit Safari and relaunched - restarted iPad - Firefox plays iPlayer TV without problem
Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a solution?

I tried it with BBC1 in Safari and yes, it sticks and whizzes. Weird indeed.
The solution is to use the standalone iPlayer app.

The iPlayer app has been around for some time now. I've had it 'just in case' but never really used it. Sounds now does BBC radio (I'm sure you know).
