I have discovered a neat feature in the new iOS: there is a new (oversized) widget that can be placed on a home screen. It is called "Batteries". It shows the current percentage of battery charge of the iPhone's battery. But I was wondering why the name is Batteries. After all, a phone has only one battery. But this widget will also show the percentage charge of any Bluetooth device's battery presently connected to the phone.
COOL.
I also like the oversized analog-clock widget. It looks so elegant. And I do so like analog clocks.

On the iPad, it shows things like a paired Pencil. It can show AirPod levels too if a pair is attached, as on the iPhone, hence "batteries".

If you have not already noticed, there's 14.2 for iOS, iPadOS, TV, HomePod and 7.1 for Watch.

"Apple's iPhone 12 models have had a few bugs since their release, and Apple cleaned up several of them this week with the release of iOS 14.2.1, which is only for the iPhone 12 family."

You're gonna love this new feature ('cause I do): Back TapAccessed through: Settings>Accessibility>Touch>Back Tap You can tap the back of the phone two or three times, and assign an action to those gestures. It works even though my phone is in a case; in other words, I'm tapping the case, not the phone itself Works on iPhone 8 and later.

I have seen reports that 14.2 is causing battery drain for some people (iPad and iPhone). Not for me this time. The biggest iPhone battery sucking app is that NHS one and the constant Bluetooth seeking, which anyway, doesn't use enough to complain about.

14.3 (iPhone, iPad and TV) has appeared, as anticipated. Get your Fitness+ and AirPods Max support and bug fixes. Watch gets 7.2.

I downloaded iPadOS 14 at long last.
One issue already: In 13, the Suggestions Widget always showed my 4 most used apps ready for me to click on one of them. In 14, all I see is the two most recent, plus a scroll-through of stuff that's nothing to do with app suggestions. How do I get back the more useful suggestions as they were in 13?
