It is starting its rollout today. And it will not be running iPads. There is now an iPadOS.
Perhaps this thread needs "iPadOS" added to its subject.

No, probably not. I started separate ones before and the iPadOS one was mostly ignored. Plebs

Well my TV took 10 mins, iPad 30 mins and iPhone 11 50 mins. Just the Watch then zzzzz time.
Tomorrow when I'm sober I'll fix all the junk Apple think i want that is actually crap. Just look at the widgets it adds for starters. Happy days.
--edit-- No updates for HomePod at time of typing.

I suppose the day will come when iOS and iPadOS will be completely separate?
Personally I can't wait for the day when iPads have camera controls for left handers as well as right.

Its not just started being called iPadOS today, it’s been called that for a while now.

I have been looking at the widgets in 14. They look a darn sight more useful to me than they were in iPadOS 13. For example, Calendar now shows me a list of my events for today which I couldn't find how to get before, so that is now included. Battery has a better display. I shall have to look at more but there's only so much screen space without resorting to stacks.

Some annoying things - they once again, without a by your leave, activated Game Center (which they can't even spell correctly ). I see they added a Translate app to my iPhone and rearranged my pages. Translate is no use to me as it doesn't have Welsh, unlike Microsoft's Translator app. I do like the Widget panel on the iPad which I've played with and some more are now actually useful. Despite the niggles I have found so far, which I have fixed, I'd say 14 is a good update.

Not so much siblings any more. iPadOS is heading off to macOS territory, if what I read (and am not citing references) is the case.
Back to iOS 14. I have had a couple of apps on the iPhone fail to log in - Plex and Ovo. By deleting and reinstalling, they worked straight off.

Does Compass.app (Apple's own app!) work for you under iOS14? It does not for me. The app shows me my location, but the compass indicates nothing as far as direction is concerned.
