For about 2 years, I've asked Siri for the overnight weather before going to bed and was shown a table on the screen showing hour-by-hour the temperature and conditions (and a general voice-over too). A few days ago it stopped and rebooting didn't fix it. Siri DOES respond to "what's the weather?", but it's just a vague general report for roughly the next half day, not an hourly forecast.
In case it's the Apple servers and not my iPad, could you do a brief experiment for me please? Ask Siri this precise question and report back what you get in response, thanks:
"What's the weather for the next eleven hours?"

Just for you MB, I enabled Siri on my iPad and went to a quiet room where other devices couldn't hear I asked your exact question and got told the forecast and a thing popped up in the lower right.

Instead of asking Siri for the weather, why not ask Siri to open your weather app of choice?

It seems Apple ditched their weather app for a widget in iPadOS 15. I had not realised until now.
I have Dark Skies and the BBC app myself.

"Is there any way to widen a widget so I can see the whole clock face?" Good luck with that.
But some of my widgets come in several sizes, but I think not several formats - as you would like.
