It’s a bit annoying when you have a power cut and - after much searching - find that your 8plus has had the torch app removed… and from your OH’s too.
Anybody else had that problem?
And recommendation for a good free replacement?

Can't you not add it back? Settings > Control Centre > Torch? Sometimes updates edit these things.

Should be a shortcut on the lock screen too, press and hold, bottom left corner.

I am sure that both have the fix. Free alternative (that has more features, too):

Thank you very much - went for the second one Gail showed. Now added to OH's phone too (both 8Plus)

Of the two, my favorite is also the second one. It surprises me that Apple can include such a plain-vanilla flashlight, when other flashlights include very useful features.
