My devices just offered me the option to 'upgrade' to v17. I accepted.

I suspect there will be WatchOS but I must update the iPhone first, it tells me.

Yes, Watch too to v10. The other updates took about forty minutes so not too bad. Watch usually takes a while. Downloading now.

The watch will take a while to get used to. The Control Centre has moved from swipe up to button press. Raise To Speak stoped working but turning the function off and on fixed that. Activity rings layout has changed too. I expect there will be other niggles but time will make these feel the norm.

The way I use the Phone and Pad probably won't bring up many new things.

v17 for HomePod eventually came through. I suspect I'm the only person in here with HomePod

Not sure I like the new Activity layout on Watch.

I'll have to get used to the Activity layout. I use the timer a lot and that layout has changed yet again and the screen that pops up when the timer has finished is all orange and just annoys my eyes. I'll have "double tap" to end timer when the 9 arrives.

"Double tap" amuses me and my kids who remember Modern Family.

The Workout app has changed. The 'End' button has been moved upward and replaced by a 'split' button. It's a pain due to muscle memory. Keep adding 'splits' instead of stopping the workout.

That didn't take long - security updates take the latest versions to 17.0.1 and 10.0.1.

I just set up the new iPhone and that updated to 17.0.2 but the Pad and Watch are still as above.
