Finally after a protracted wrangle with the developers my team (Axminster Town) has finally received the keys to their new ground and although there is still work to be done it will be one of the best football facilities in East Devon if not the whole of Devon! I cannot wait for our first game on 22nd May under floodlights against local rivals Chard Town for the Axminster Hospital Cup. A fitting way to support the community and support a great local hospital. |

Floodlit matches are the best. Let's hope it improves the club and brings it prosperity and success. |

Had a fantastic night at the Axminster Hospital Cup Final at our new ground. Over 400 people turned up to make it a great night, the only downside is we lost 4-0 to local rivals Chard Town but a fitting game to support a good cause and christen our new facilities. |

NCFC taking on 'Boro today at Wembley. Would be great to see Norwich back in the premiership, but how well they'd do I don't know. Since being under Neil's control and a few disappointing results, they have really found their groove. I think they're a better side than 'Boro, their poor form earlier in the season is what put them in the playoffs initially, had Neil have been there from the off I think we'd have skipped the play-offs and just been preparing for today. Hopefully it's kept them sharp though. I'm hoping for a win, but we shall see....! Fingers crossed, kick off 3pm! |
