Well I fished out an old tape from my tape box and I had recorded one side of KMET, the other of KLOS. These were recorded directly off AUX of the local FM radio in late 1979, (not via microphone, and they are in stereo). You can tell they were using vinyl records, this of course is pre-CD era. I dug out the old cassette player and transcribed the two sides of the tape with Audacity.
I can't claim they are particularly high quality recordings, this is unfiltered as they came off the cassette. I just took a sample from the radio at the time, no special planning was involved as far as I recall. But then they seem to have been cropped to fit and I don't know how I did that unless I transferred them to reel to reel and then back onto cassette. Can't remember. Here are the two sides just for the hell of it anyway.

Terrible quality video but I think these are great men, I've always admired Christopher Hitchens in particular. It's such a shame that he has left us eight years ago, far too early.
"To the dumb question 'Why me?'," he wrote, "the cosmos barely bothers to return the reply, 'Why not?'"

I'm just going to refer back to my post a couple of pages back about the way APPLE is going -
You're right Chris, it does come across as a bit of a rant, but he had justification and I agree with him! Since Steve went I'm afraid Apple have been on a greedy downward trajectory. Just my opinion.
- Because I found his follow-up to that which might be amusing to see in conjunction!
Who is this guy? He is a very interesting and accomplished musician who has a YouTube channel talking about music. Very well done, highly educational and would recommend for anyone.
Here is an example of one of his song analysis posts
