I have observed a number of rules of life.
Here are three.
Where ever you stand in Marks and Spencers someone will always want to stand in that exact same spot two minutes later.
An unexpected sum of money is always met with an unexpected bill of the same amount.
You can't tell a senior police officer anything - they know it all already.
I feel better for that.

Whenever you want to look at something in Marks & Spencer's there's always somebody standing in the way.....

Just when you get habituated into buying a certain product from a certain place in the supermarket, the supermarket changes which aisle it is kept on at the same time as the manufacturer changes the formula and packaging so you waste ages trying to find it and when you do it's never quite the same.

As a married man, you're always in shit with the wife. It's just the depth that varies.

If you accidentally iron a crease into a shirt it's virtually impossible to iron it out again....

BMW drivers believe they are legally allowed to overtake on the inside lane on motorways and are exempt from all road speed restrictions.
