I thought we had this thread, must be thinking of the old forum. Tonight 19:35 Channel 4. The Merits of Ferrets about traumatised, rescued ferrets who helped an ex-soldier through a transgender period of life. Could put ferrets in a whole new light. Personally I like ferrets, they're fun, cute and when roaming free around the house burglars are virtually guaranteed a visit to A&E with a shredded nutsack. Strange it's on C4, it sounds much more like Channel 5 programming. |

And sticking them with a transgender ex-soldier is supposed to detraumatise them ! |

Well... what an odd little programme, all the way through I wondered if I was watching a spoof! A somewhat misleading title I think, the focus was definately not on the ferrets. Can't decide if it was good old-fashioned British doc-making at its peculiar best or something else entirely. |

I'll be watching the last-ever episode of Monk on ITV3 tomorrow afternoon. I used to enjoy the programme every so often, never saw the final ep though. |

Burton and Taylor. Good film; shame my attention was yanked around by more adverts than a commercial Freeview station! Some of the product placement couldn't have been more obvious if the characters had just held the things up to the camera. |
