Well that's strange because when I posted I couldn't see any "thank you" but now I can.

I think we did already test it jezza! You can do again if you like. So far my autoshoveller "Rule" is seeming not to work, but then I keep changing it - from marked, to read and now to delete. Needs a bit more testing, I think! As for post name, both the post subject and post content are "Thanks for the message"

Well folks, Don't bother with the filter! It's a waste of space! I set it to delete any message with the subject "Thanks for the message" Guess what? It sends me a pm to tell me that it has received a message just like that, and that it has been removed! (But is hasn't removed it. I can still open it, and it says "Thanks for the message" ) Computers, eh? Tsk.

This is crazy.. I see you got one from our Tiger chum.
I'm a bit leary of thanking anyone now if it ends up spamming their In Box.
Is anyone else getting these PM's ?
edit: Just Thanked Leewaves last post

Right. I'm not sure if my inbox was empty before. It is now. My rule is in place. Go for it! Edit: I just got an alert to say I had a message..... and that it has been deleted!

It's pretty clear in my mind: when a member has helped me, I will simply continue to post a "thank you" in the thread. It's also a way to say - in many cases - "issue resolved". Which is important, also.

And I can't believe that I'm still subscribed. Which - in two seconds - I won't be!
