It’s available on iPlayer now. Watched it last night and highly recommend it.

Doubt anyone could not feel emotional at the cruelty and unfairness of that disease. A very fine tribute clearly made with love and respect.

For feck sake, Sky News has just given out the result with no warning whatsoever. Why would I watch the replay now? Advertisers should start legal action against Sky, why would anyone watch now? Tossers.

Well, what can I say...? We have neighbours who work for Mercedes. I'll be keeping well clear of them for a while. When we do meet, I'll endeavour to stay off the topic. Next season should start interestingly...

I am not a fan of either constructor or driver involved, but that was a ridiculous decision by the race controller and basically decided the race. If I had a conspiracy theory it would involve a bung but of course, that is not an allegation of held fact on my part.
I have decided not to watch next season because it was just not right. I only watched on and off to now when there was nothing else on. Maybe if an appeal succeeds or it is explained why the rules were not applied correctly. There is a lot of money involved (unfortunately not any with me). Not that F1/FIA or people here give a trouser trump what I think.

According to the news that particular race director has been called out for making interesting decisions a few times this year so there may be more to come about him, but surely no challenge is going to change the verdict 24 hours later?

James Hunt won the British GP way back in the 70s. A few months later he was stripped of the win after Ferrari took the case to court and won.
Never say never in F1.

I have never been interested in motor racing I must confess. However I have been interested in gliding (sailplane) competitions in which I have participated ages ago - and been successful to some degree several times before - where you navigate through the sky using skill. Driving around a closed track with everybody else in your way seems incredibly futile (To me)
Having said that, and not being a motor sport person, Jonah's comment just seems to sum the whole thing up. If you can "win" by going to court - isn't that just the epitomy of pointlessness? Oh well.

In this case, Hamilton told Mercedes that he didn't want to take it to court, so the case was dropped.
