Ah yes I saw about that somewhere. Pedant time: computers were people who did the calculations before the electronic ones were even thought of. There were electronic machines in the 60s but hellish expensive and limited in capability. Kin of the WW2 code cracking Colossus built by Tommy Flowers. But yeah, the women who were hidden away and not acknowledged. Was it the BBC Film Review it was mentioned on? I forget now. Thanks for that.

I quite enjoyed Interstellar. But it did have Jessica Chastain in it and she is worth watching any film for.

I liked 'Interstellar' but probably because I think all of Christopher Nolan movies are brilliant.

Downton Abbey.... my idea to go. Never seen the TV series but I had hopes of some sort of villainous, drunken, raving mad maniac prowling the corridors.
I rather wished they'd gone with my 'spoiler' idea, that I told our Receptionist... about the Tiger that Hubert, (the odd, crossed eyed illegitimate son in the tower) brings back from India, escaping and eating his way through the village yokels.
One for the fans I would suggest.

Well, I've not seen it yet but I am booked into an IMAX Cinema for a screening of Ad Astra.
Mission report to follow.

If you have Netflix and enjoy quirky Scifi and enjoy binge watching a Box set (10 episodes) I can thoroughly recommend Maniac. Another Scifi series that gave pleasure was Travelers, also on Netflix.

Went to see The Rise of the Skywalker on Friday. Really enjoyed it, thought it was a good finale. I’ve now seen all nine Star Wars films in the cinema on original release.
