I witnessed a traffic accident this morning. :

I heard a car start up and then BANG, they had driven into their house rather than reversing out of the drive. :(

First driving lesson instruction - check the car is in neutral before starting the engine :o

So stupid it has to be true! If you were a teacher, you'd just walk slowly away from these children...

Yikes!

In the article:
She added: “The council will be seeking legal advice concerning whether any future action is legally possible."
That means don't know, don't care. An attitude which could change rapidly in the face of public bitterness. Or not.

A Category 4 order hadn't been issued yet, so the bulldozing was technically legal even though outside the law - that is, for someone who can only see seperate acts in information parcels and flog that tiny nugget to death while obscuring other nuggets. So a defence lawyer then.

Ah, sounds about like this...
Quote:
“But the plans were on display…”
“On display? I eventually had to go down to the cellar to find them.”
“That’s the display department.”
“With a flashlight.”
“Ah, well, the lights had probably gone.”
“So had the stairs.”
“But look, you found the notice, didn’t you?”
“Yes,” said Arthur, “yes I did. It was on display in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying ‘Beware of the Leopard.”

Suggest we have a London Mac4Mac meeting on opening night.

If only to get pissed.
