Thanks Loughor, I did know that, it just spoils the moment I'll take it into the bank next time I'm in town.

I heard nothing from PCW about the ordered Airpods, which were promised for in store pick up today after 17:00. I rang them. After fifteen minutes on hold, I learned that there was a "problem with dispatch". I told them to cancel. I expect better, both on delivery and answering the flipping 'phone.
Aaaand relax.
I watched Lego Batman today. Very good.
--edit-- Ordered from John Lewis so a few days to wait.

Currently in the middle of updating macOS to 10.12.6 (one down, one to go), TVOS to 10.2.2 and now the two iOS things to 10.3.3. and WatchOS 3.2.3 to follow. That's my morning, anyway.

The Airpods arrived. Very simple setup. I had a quick listen and they sound very good (tested with Hotel California). They are on charge now and later, I'll see how well they stay in when I move about. That is my only concern. They feel comfortable and not jammed in.

They do fall out when there is strong head movement, but they seem to stay in under normal movement and gentle running. My knees are no longer up to sprinting so no danger from that They should be just fine even if I look like a plonker with them in.

Maybe I was headbanging too much or don't have enough wax in my ears No, in-ears have never been secure for me but these are the best to date. Normal use and no problem.

I was AFK doing domestic stuff. When I got back, there was a system pop-up (not browser) that there was a problem with my iCloud/Apple ID password and to reset it. Obviously I was cautious but it seemed genuine. I generated an email from App Store that had the correct Apple information behind links. The rescue email went to my designated backup address. That linked to an Apple https site. Updated. All my Apple hardware then wanted the password entering. I've not seen that pro-actively happen. I (rhetorically) wonder what caused that?

I think Apple are doing this periodically just to piss us off.

This has been all over Facebook for the last couple of days so I'm guessing it's not new. But for anyone who hasn't seen it yet, tell Siri: "I see a little silhouetto of a man"

Not complaining, but this morning the Mac made me verify iMessenger and set that up again. Not having Friendface or Twatter, I don't see gossip like JP referred to. Not that people I know use Apple kit.

Today I received the powerbank thingy I ordered from Amazon. It looks and feels great, like a plus size smartphone. As long as that isn't all I can say about it. I'll fully charge it then try it out.
