I am going to have to buy a LCD projector for some language classes I have been asked to run. I've used them at school (before I retired) but have never had to consider specifications before. There is a great deal made of the Image Brightness in Lumens in advertisements. I shall be using my projector in a conference room (about 15 feet by 12 feet), in the evening with artificial light.
What Image Brightness can I get away with (I don't want to spend more money than I have to) so that the images/PowerPoint presentations are visible?
Does anyone have any recommendations for reasonably priced projectors to use with my PowerBook, or are there any models or manufacturers to avoid?
