It's sometimes funny listening to the news reporters mispronouncing names too...

I heard Judee Sill's 'Jesus was a cross maker' from the John Peel sessions on 6 music last night. I immediately downloaded from iTunes and am completely obsessed with it.

Robert Plant Night on BBC4. Superb. Also some clips of Led Zep, Page and Plant, and some of the very many other styles and bands Plant has been involved with during his amazing lifetime. Currently listening to "Shine it All Around" from Robert Plant & The Strange Sensation on a compilation of Plant on Jules Holland. Worth staying up late for!

Friendly Fires - Pala.
Only two tracks in so far but loving what I've heard up until now. Seems more electronic than the first album, and that's only a good thing in my book.

Band from TV
Founded by Greg Grunberg who plays drums and vocals. Also "Starring" James Denton and Hugh Laurie. Mostly bluesy/rock with a couple that the Blues Brothers have done.

Saw another BBC Queen documentary last night. Brilliant. Superb supergroup. So creative, and intelligent, grounded (not so much in their early days though!)
Interestingly, their most creative member began his downfall in the same area as did Peter Green of Fleetwood Mac - Bavaria if not Munich itself. There was some sort of weird place that seemed to attract these creative stars and then destroyed them with drugs and other hedonistic pleasures.
