The new Rolling Stones album Blue & Lonesome, courtesy of Apple Music. Out today. Back to their original blues covers but more studio produced and not with the raunchy edge. I'll maybe put that down to the technology, not their age.

I have bought a few albums recently. Kate Bush- Before The Dawn... I was lucky enough to see her at the live show so the album brought back great memories and the sound was brilliant which is reflected on the CD. Also I am beginning to get into modern British jazz something a few years ago I would of laughed at. I bought Gogo Penguin- Man Made Object with Nick Blacka incredible double bass playing. And finally Bonobo- Black Sands... The title track is simply sublime.

I'm having an Al Stewart evening because TV is rubbish (to keep it polite). Courtesy of Apple Music through Sonos. I have a good number of his albums in my MP3 library, but not as many as I'd like.... or want to afford.

I've been having a few hours of vinyl tonight. Enjoying stuff not available with Apple Music. It sounds really good through the full Sonos (even the dust and scratches on the older discs).
Any turntable/cartridge experts? I have a question that internet searching has only partially answered.
