Oh what memories...... there was some great humour back then - , and plenty you could listen to with the family Tom Lehrer's (link on that page) humour is rather darker. , Poisoning Pigeons in the Park and his ode to the H-bomb . Sadly, he was performing before an audience that, according to one comment, seemed already to have embalmed... "or should that be em-bombed?" And then there was Bob Newhart....

It was a compliment. Never be embarrassed! They don't make 'em like they used tadoo. Listening to Sweet Nuthin's - Brenda Lee.

Yesterday evening we were in the theatre listening to "Love Never Dies", (The sequel to Phantom of the Opera). I've just ordered the soundtrack cd from Amazon.

I'm listening to my next door neighbours answerphone beep every 10 seconds. She's only just left for work too, so won't be home for about 10 hours... Aside from that, i've been listening to Jeff Waynes War of the Worlds.... Again.

White Lies - Ritual.
Not a patch on their debut, but a couple of standouts nonetheless.

Joni Mitchell's Blue bought for £2.00 from a man selling old cds by Shoreditch High Street station. It had been 'filed' in the under the heading 'shit'. I had to disagree, but had a really interesting discussion about music in general for the next 30 minutes or so.
