Does anyone know of a way to delete ALL read notifications at once instead of selecting singularly?

With Apple email, I would enter 'Facebook' in the search box, then mouse-click once into any message, then hit Command and 'A'. That will highlight all of them. (If necessary, you can "un-highlight" an individual message with a Command-mouseclick). Then press Delete.

Mine moves them all to the Trash folder. Depending how your preferences are set, you have time to change your mind before Trash is emptied.

Highmac clearly did not understand that your question was regarding Facebook (the app) - and its user interface.

You're correct Gail. I'm not an FB user, but I see the dozens that come over to my better-half's email

As a side-note: The company I worked for instructed all employees to sign up to FB, using their company email addy. I retired more than 15 years ago and never (knowingly) gave FB my home email. Didn't stop it, though. It found my link and my missus gets "invitations" to make me a "friend". One department head lost his job after posting a message criticising his bosses. A true 'duh' moment...
