While browsing on t'other forum, I came across and the article which as quoted seems to match a lot of my dissatisfaction with what Apple do these days. Interface, what user interface?
iOS : Simplicity - or usability? What is more important?
More grey, more confusion; less information, more trial and error.

Apple's software leaves a lot to be desired now.
Still it's better than the cesspools that are Windows or Android.

I read that Mophie have a lot of patents for smartphone battery cases and Apple have had to work round them.
The lump is also supposed to help you hold the phone when on a call as you can put your little finger underneath it for support.
But it still looks shite.

The saddest part is limiting OSX to what can be done on an iPhone. Where would car manufactures be if they limited their top model to what their economy model had??? And if somebody at Apple actually did anything on a Mac & could see the latest OSs' indistinguishable grayness through my one eyed poor vision... we might even get some improvements instead of no steps forwards & 42 steps backwards at every iteration.
