I just sent off for a photobook from Smily Hippo , photos of cars whilst on holiday in Cuba last year.
I paid by Paypal and sat back waiting for the postman.

What I received instead was an email from United States Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control via paypal:

To ensure that activity and transactions comply with current regulations,
PayPal is requesting that you provide the following information via email
to compliancetransactions@paypal.com:

1. Purpose of payment 5VF34370T8446500C attempted on April 29, 2016 in
the amount of $7.95, including a complete and detailed explanation of the
goods or services you intended to purchase. Please also explain the
transaction message: "Cuban Cars."


I hope President Obama doesn't have the same problem getting his Cuban photos printed .
