A friend lives near Dornoch, a few miles beyond Inverness in Scotland and needs a reliable mobile phone. I've checked that O2 should have network coverage there, and so I recommended Giffgaff sim card pay-as-you-go or on monthly "goodybag" pack.
Any recommendations or beware-of warnings as to which network/provider to go with? Simple phone only but maybe smartphone later.

If O2 has good coverage there then compare Tesco, a virtual network using them.

Okay thanks, I see that for 5 pounds a month you can have 125 minutes or for 7.50 a month 250 or 500 minutes depending on the deal. Thanks again.
