I wonder at what point in the year the Beeb bosses decided to choose The Party episode of Yes, Minister to broadcast on BBC Four on Wednesday (22nd - 8pm) :D

For those who don't know which episode that is:
"Party Games"
The unexpected resignation of the PM prompts a race for the succession, and, as Party Chairman, Hacker is in a key position—and the Civil Service, now headed by Sir Humphrey, has its own agenda.

In the real world, I can't see the current incumbent lasting much longer. He's messed up a few too many times, though politics is a strange world. I feel sorry for the next one. They'll get a flat that, from the sound of it, has the most tasteless decor going. Shame to waste even more money putting that right.
