I have poor hearing and wear two hearing aids.
Currently, we've a BT Freestyle 650, bought because it's advertised as being suitable for the hard of hearing. As far as I'm concerned all it does is use the speaker phone to be louder. That then distorts the sound, which doesn't help. Using the phone wearing hearing aids doesn't help either.
For various reasons we need a hands free phone with at least one slave unit.
Any advice on a particular phone would be welcome.
I use wireless earphones for the tele, so that OH can have the sound at her level. Does anyone do such a set up for a phone? We can't afford to go down the iPhone or mobile route.
Thanks

Do you have aids that have "T" switch on them for Inductive coupler(like you see at banks)

Just looked at the . If you scroll down, you'll find advice on reclaiming VAT if you are registered as deaf or hard-of-hearing, as well as a guide to what is suitable for particular levels of hearing loss.

Defcom, there was a persistent buzz in the background that really didn't help, but thanks. And Highmac, I'm not registered as hard of hearing, but to reclaim anything I'll give it a go. Thanks.
