I have a G4 iMac which has the later type of keyboard but it has a problem: I can't start it any more although it used to work okay.

BDAqua has suggested I try to source a older G3 keyboard, one which has a start button built-in. I had no idea you could start a G4 iMac using that but there is some evidence that it might be possible. In any case if anybody has an old keyboard with a start button they no longer need could I possibly talk to you about it?

I had one with an old iMac which I had to get rid of as the CRT was damaged. I may have kept the keyboard but cannot remember for sure. Let me search the garage tomorrow for you and I'll let you know.
