Googling and heading for the nearest Computer Fair... but, does anyone have for sale or loan a cable/adapter to connect a couple of old Apple 50 pin SCSI hard drives to a newer Mac - ie: via USB Any help appreciated. (Just some old stuff I'd like to have a nose through and back up - probably all of it of no real value but, it's a project) |

Thanks for that.. well worth me bumping the post. I may have to go for a U.S supplier - I'm sure my U.K searches months ago found nothing. Cheers BD |

I could probably copy everything off those drives if you're desperate. I've still got an old PowerMac 9600 and external SCSI and USB zip drives. The ZIP drives would be the go between old and new Macs. All devices were working last time I checked, but it's been YEARS! |

Hi FE... Massive apologies - I only just spotted your reply. Let me have a think and see if I can devise a plan. I suspect the drives may have become unviable - But I will update you. Cheers! |
